How this works
If your question isn't here, ask it directly — we answer every enquiry personally.
How does buying actually work — there's no checkout?
Right. You send an enquiry about a stone (or a shortlist of stones). We reply personally, usually within one to two business days, with availability, a firm price, and any additional photos or a video. If you decide to go ahead, payment and shipping are arranged directly between you and us — bank details are shared privately at that point. Nothing is charged through this website.
What does "natural", "treated" and "synthetic" mean on a listing?
Natural means the stone formed in the earth with no known treatment beyond cutting and polishing. Treated means it has been through an accepted enhancement — most commonly heat, and for emerald a clarity-improving oil or resin. Synthetic (or lab-created) means the same material grown in a laboratory rather than mined; it is sold and priced as a synthetic and always labelled as one. Every listing states which of the three applies, and the specific treatment is noted in the description.
Do the stones come with a certificate?
It varies by stone. Some already carry an independent laboratory report (for example from GIA or GRS); the listing says so and names the lab. Others have an in-house assessment only. If a stone has no report and you would like one, we can arrange lab certification before despatch — this adds cost and a few days, and we will quote it in the enquiry reply.
Can I see more photos or a video before deciding?
Yes — always ask. The photos on the site are a starting point. On request we will send additional images in different lighting, measurements, and a short video of the stone moving.
Where do you ship, and how long does it take?
We ship worldwide, with most orders going to Europe, the United States and Australia. Stones are sent by an insured courier service. Transit is typically a few business days once the parcel is despatched; customs clearance can add time depending on the destination. Full detail is on the Shipping & Returns page.
Who handles customs and import duty?
The parcel travels with a correct commercial invoice and declared value. Any import duty, VAT or GST charged by the destination country is the buyer's responsibility and is not included in the stone price. We can provide the documentation your broker or courier needs.
What if the stone isn't what I expected?
Because everything is discussed and photographed before you commit, surprises are rare. If a stone materially differs from what was represented, contact us within the window set out on the Shipping & Returns page and we will arrange a return. Return shipping and insurance arrangements are covered there.
Do you sell wholesale or in bulk?
Yes. Choose "Wholesale / bulk" on the enquiry form and tell us roughly what you're after — stone types, sizes, quantities, and your timeline — and we'll come back with what we can put together.
