Draft — last updated on build
Draft. This policy is a working draft and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. It must not be treated as final or relied upon until that review is complete.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry we collect the details you type into the form: your name, email address, country, optionally a phone number, and your message. Our server also records the IP address and browser the enquiry came from, to help prevent spam and abuse.
Your shortlist and recently-viewed stones are stored only in your own browser (local storage). They are never sent to us.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and, if it leads to an order, to arrange payment and shipping.
- To send you a one-time automatic acknowledgement that your enquiry arrived.
- To keep records of enquiries and transactions as required for tax and business purposes.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for marketing unless you separately ask to hear from us.
Who processes it
Enquiry emails are delivered through a third-party email provider. The site is hosted on a third-party platform. Analytics, if enabled, are collected without cookies and without identifying you personally. These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms.
Retention
Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle your request and to meet record-keeping obligations, then deleted.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to object to its use. To exercise any of these, contact us through the enquiry form.
